How Air Compressor Engineering Started
Our founder Paul Johnson, spent a number of years working for the UK’s biggest compressed air company before making the decision to start his own business. In early 2000s Paul started PMJ International which is a large retail outlet for compressor parts and filters.
A little over 10 years ago Air Compressor Engineering was started in Harlow, Essex. It was created as a separate business from PMJ International after a lot of demand locally for a professional compressed air service company that could deliver a reliable, premium service.

Capitalising on the 40 years of experience in the air compress industry, a quality team and a supply of parts which are of unrivalled quality, the business has been growing ever since. Paul's two sons, Jake and Jamie have both joined the family business and they uphold the same high-standards set by their father.
